Martin Flaherty OBE, Managing Director of the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) said:
The tragic events that took place on the third of June 2017 will live long in the memory of the victims, their families and friends as well as the emergency services and other NHS staff whose job it was that night to treat patients under extremely difficult circumstances.
The London Ambulance Service staff who responded to this attack did so in an highly pressured evolving environment demonstrating their commitment and dedication.
As always in these incidents there will be lessons to learn and we are committed to ensuring that learning is taken on board by the wider ambulance sector and embedded in our national response strategies going forward.
